REVIEW:
A pretty thrilling movie, this one is artistic and exciting both at the same time. It tells the story of a family and a crime that has been committed towards them. The catch is that the two brothers, who are our protagonists, are the ones who did the crime. We watch as their simple plan goes horribly wrong, and they now have to deal with the consequences. This movie was the great director Sidney Lumet’s last, and boy does he show his skill here. The way he shows different scenes from different points of view, at different times in the movie, is masterful. And everyone is hitting it out of the park here in terms of performance. Especially the leads, Ethan Hawke and Phillip Seymour Hoffman. This is one hell of a movie.
