REVIEW:
A surprisingly strong, interesting movie, this one features a very limited name cast (Aubrey Plaza, being the only known star,) and his hard for the indie movie feel. That means lots of us d held camera work and closeups on objects as characters are speaking. But what makes it work is a string story about a woman who is heavy into student debt, and finds an opportunity to make some money through criminal activity. That activity is using stolen credit cards to make bit purchases. The movie takes us all the way through Emily (Plaza’s,) training in how to do this, through her relationship with the man who trained her. It’s exciting the whole way through, and builds up toward a nice climax.
